Ingredients

For The Pisto Sauce

  • 1 Medium diced and peeled zucchini
  • 1 Medium chopped green pepper
  • 1 Medium chopped red pepper
  • 3 Large skinned and diced tomatoes
  • 1 Medium chopped onion
  • drizzle olive oil
  • pinch Himalayan salt
  • pinch cinnamon
  • pinch paprika

Turmeric and Spirulina Dual-layered Rice

  • 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
  • 400g risotto rice
  • 1 tablespoon spirulina powder
  • pinch Himalayan salt
  • drizzle olive oil

Directions

For The Pisto Sauce
Step 1
Pour the drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan and heat at medium temperature.
Step 2
Add the pepper and onion, turn low heat and stir occasionally so they get brownish.
Step 3
Add the tomatoes or crushed tomatoes to the pan with the peppers. When they're half cooked with a pinch of cinnamon.
Step 4
Finally, add the zucchini and the paprika.
Step 5
Leave on the fire at medium heat for a few minutes, so the flavors mix well and it's ready to serve.
Turmeric and Spirulina Dual-layered Rice
Step 6
Boil the rice in a pot. Remember, this kind of rice needs three parts of water for one of rice!
Step 7
Add the turmeric powder and the salt into the water.
Step 8
Strain the rice when gets softer, around 17 min.
Step 9
Now take the half of the rice and keep the other on a side.
Step 10
In a pan, heat the olive oil and the spoon of spirulina. When it's mixed with the olive oil, add the half of the rice and mix.
Step 11
Use a aluminum shaper to give the round shape. Start adding the yellowish layer until you cover the half of the shaper, and add the green layer over until you cover the shaper.
Step 12
After, add over the pisto sauce. You can decorate with paprika powder, turmeric powder and spirulina.
