Raw vegan brownies are exactly how they sound, raw! No cooking required. Regardless of the need to not bake, raw vegan brownies are super chocolatey. The combination of fruits and agave give it a natural sweetness. In addition, the integrated nuts produce a great, consistent texture. Raw vegan brownies don’t take long to prepare, at all. It is best if it is prepared the night before so it can be stored in the fridge to have the best texture.

Vegan Raw Brownie Recipe

This raw brownie is naturally sweet with an organic chocolate taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup dates
  • 2 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 4 tablespoons coconut (shredded and unsweetened)
  • 5 tablespoons raw cacao powder (unsweetened)
  • pinch himalayan salt

Note

It is best if the raw brownie is stored in the fridge overnight.

Directions

Step 1
Process the hazelnuts and the walnuts in a food processor until they become crumbly.
Step 2
Add the dried cranberries and the dates to the mixture. Process them until it combines.
Step 3
Add the rest of the ingredients to the mixture and process them. Be careful and don't process it too much or the raw cocoa will become buttery. The perfect mixture has a dark chocolate color.
Step 4
Place the mixture on a detachable mold and keep it in the fridge. Better if left overnight.
Step 5
Enjoy it! I garnished it with strawberries and mint.
